Consulting

We provide a six-step process to bring new technologies into a network.

  1. Concept: research, build business case, identify funds and champion
  2. Evaluation: requirements, develop team, proto-type report
  3. Development: identify roll-out strategies and evangelize patents/standard
  4. Engineering: incorporate into network architecture
  5. Deployment: manage go-to-market
  6. Refinements: revise for robustness and survivability.

Some example of work by stage...

Current Network Technologies

  • Refinement: Tools for quality assurance of Broadcaster Video across fiber, intercontinental
  • Development: Further development of SNTP/NTP technologies
  • Concept: comments for the allocation of frequencies in wireless spectrum

New Technologies

Concept, Evaluation and Development of network transmission: Fiber Optic Modulators that are gap-less, non-polarization dependent and able to modify performance by electro-optic inductance.

In television our current focus is in Interactive TV integration via OCAP and DVB.

In Internet data centers our current focus on IPv6, Top Level Domain Assignments and TIC TOC committee work.

In wireless our interests are in the frequency allocation evaluations.
